You Can Help
The Dorothea Haus Ross Foundation is a Section 501(c)3 not-for-profit private foundation organized in the State of New York. Our staff and Trustees have had over 30 years of experience supporting a great variety of children’s projects throughout the United States and the World. We have visited many of our grantees firsthand, and developed an in-depth understanding of children’s issues.

We support organizations that give hope and opportunity to children who have no place to turn and need a helping hand. Often our assistance is to small grassroots organizations that know best how to enhance thGUAT_kids_paintinge care and welfare of the children they work with. Our role is to help them achieve their goals to improve children’s lives. Examples of recent Ross Foundation grants appear in our Annual Report and in our Guidelines.

We are currently funding in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean basin, Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa. The projects we support largely focus on direct aid and assistance to vulnerable children, including those who are ill, orphaned, disabled, injured, disfigured, abused and malnourished or have limited access to education.
